Freelance Designer Aug 2026 – Present

I design UI/UX, brand, and marketing work for startups, agencies, and in-house teams, mostly B2B and technical products. My process runs from user research and wireframes through interactive prototypes and dev-ready specs, usually working directly with product leads and engineers to get things shipped.

Designed UX for engineering-heavy internal tools and B2B products, translating complex requirements, system constraints, and workflows into structured information architecture and user flows.

  • Ran discovery with engineers on technical requirements and constraints, then turned that into wireframes, interactive prototypes, and final UI, adapting designs to implementation limits as they came up.
  • Designed UX for AI-powered features inside existing B2B products, mapping new capabilities into workflows users already knew.
  • Contributed to products including a competitive programming platform, PCB/electronics simulation tool, and stealth software-to-hardware product; much of the work was NDA-protected.

Client-facing UI/UX designer at a 30-person B2B agency, working with manufacturing, industrial, and technical companies.

  • Worked directly with clients, subject-matter experts, and developers to turn technical specs into information architecture, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and final UI.
  • Cope Material Selector: designed a self-serve tool that lets customers filter hundreds of plastic materials by technical spec instead of calling in. It replaced phone-based inquiries and started generating inbound leads for sales.
  • Electro-Spec: redesigned the UX and information architecture for a precision plating supplier's site, restructuring technical content around how aerospace, medical, and telecom buyers actually search. Sessions and page views grew 67%; quote requests grew 159%.
  • Big Box: redesigned the user journey and IA for a Drupal-to-WordPress migration, simplifying navigation and content hierarchy while preserving existing SEO equity. Organic keywords grew 44% in the first year.

Sole in-house UI/UX designer across four hotel properties, working with leadership, developers, and an external web agency to improve the digital customer journey.

  • Audited 50 pages, logged 35 UX issues and 3 bugs, then rebuilt the navigation, redesigned core components, and expanded the design system. Changes are live across all four hotel sites.
  • Ran moderated usability tests with guests and staff to validate navigation and booking-flow changes before rollout.
  • Led the Arenas-to-Faern rebrand across signage, restaurant and bar menus, guest collateral, internal templates, event flyers, and master decks for all four properties.

Designed and built Shopify stores for 250+ U.S. e-commerce clients, covering themes, page templates, product and collection structures, metafields, apps, and Shopify Flow.

  • Optimized product pages and checkout flows for conversion and SEO across retail and wholesale storefronts, adjusting structure based on customer behavior.
  • Designed email campaigns and conversion-focused site strategies, with some clients seeing up to 98X ROI.
  • Collaborated with CX, UX, product, and engineering teams on customer-facing features for the Vodafone Digital app, working within the existing design system.
  • Adapted existing interfaces and components for the dark-mode conversion of Vodafone's mobile app.
  • Designed lo-fi and hi-fi prototypes for Shake It, a gamified in-app rewards feature, focusing on user flows and interaction patterns.
  • Designed responsive newsletters and digital comms for different audiences and device sizes.
  • Took part in Agile sprints and design reviews with product, engineering, and CX stakeholders.
